About

Lara King delivers rich, heartfelt neo-soul with strong jazz and R&B influences. Her sound blends smooth, timeless grooves with expressive, soulful vocals and thoughtful songwriting. Drawing inspiration from artists like Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, she creates warm, sultry performances that feel both intimate and powerful. While her roots span folk, psychedelic rock and pop, her solo work as LADY KING sits firmly in contemporary neo-soul territory – emotional, groovy, and full of depth.
